What's a Songwriting Sprint?

The Songwriting Sprint is a focused, 8-week creative experience designed to help you write more songs — consistently, simply, and without overwhelm.

You’ll join a small group of up to 12 songwriters, receive a fresh songwriting prompt every two weeks, and use built-in deadlines, community support, and feedback to keep your songwriting moving forward.

You can find out more information about how the Songwriting Sprints work here.

Write on,

Keppie

PS - We created open access Songwriting Sprints a few years ago, after my own transformative experience of joining one. After struggling to find time and motivation to write around little kids, teaching, laundry (...I had a looming project deadline that year to write an album for a Penguin Random House audiobook!), I joined a songwriting group.

And wrote 20 songs in 12 months, including the entire album of music.

I did this around a full-time job. Around raising two young kids. Around making dinner, making beds, and going to the dentist. Around groceries and answering email.

So I created Songwriting Sprints that anyone, anywhere can join, so that everyone has access to the transformative power of community, accountability, and 📆 deadlines!

Of all the things that keep songwriters stuck, lyric writing is very often at the top of the list.
